Canberra
Good morning, everybody!
Canberra was an amazing trip and one that I'm sure has created a lot of memories for the students.
Apart from putting up with my jokes for three days, which on most occasions resulted in no laughs at all, the students expereineced a lot of fun activities.
The war memorial was amazing. Linton, Hayden, Corey and Lawrence were all really impressed with the large plane displays.
The snow was definitely the most fun. Earlier on the bus trip, I discovered that there was a plot for everyone in 6S to attack me with snowballs. I managed to recruit the majority of the class back onto my side. A special mention to Dilara, Rebecca, Natalia, Chloe and Gabriel for being the first to defend me.
As much as I tried to recruit everyone back to my side, Elizabeth, Jonah, Brodie, Micaela, Indyana and James still got a few good shots at me with their snow balls. I'm happy to call that one a draw.
The view from the chairlift to the top of the mountain was incredible. I shared the chairlift with Dylan, Natalie and William who were all very cool with the heights that we got to. Well done to you all for being so brave!
Maya and William did a great job at the Australian Electoral Commision. They knew so much about the voting process and really took a lot of knowledge away from the experience.
Now it is time for the students to rest and relax in the holidays. See you next term.
p.s don't worry if you missed the jokes. I will tell you them all in term 3!

Homework
Good afternoon everybody,
I have decided to post the homework on the blog. Students will be given a copy in class, but there have been many times when a student comes to me and the following scenario is played out:
Old scenario
Mr Seeney: Have you completed your homework this week?
Student: No, I couldn't do it because I lost it/ No, I was away when it was handed out.
New scenario
Mr Seeney: Have you completed your homework?
Student: No, I lost it so I was not able to complete it/ No I was away when it was handed out.
Mr Seeney: Yes, but the homework is on the blog so now you can access it any time.
I want both being absent and losing homework to no longer be an issue for the students.
Enjoy!

Think back to the story The Bitter
Pill. The King devised a plan to catch out the counsellors who were always
agreeing with him regardless of what they really thought. Write a story about
how your counsellors are always agreeing with your decisions. What plan could
you come up with to make sure they are telling you the truth?
