Getting Ready for Change
Hello everybody,
You might be hearing your child talk about carrying a timetable and changing table arrangements depending on the subject they are doing. This is all true and I'm excited to say that it is going to prepare them well for high school next year because these are all the types of changes that the students will have to adjust to.
The timetable outlines everything they will be doing throughout the week and I would like you to encourage your child to look at it each night to ensure they have everything they need for the next day. This is more to develop good habits before going to high school.
There are two main reasons for changing the table arrangements. One is to get students working in different environments, and secondly, I have found that some table arrangements work better for one subject than another, for example, small table groups are great for mathematics because students can solve problems together.
The students appear to love this, but I would like to see if you are getting the same responses at home.
